Alex Richards: Tenor/Soprano Sax
Alex Richards (b.1988) is a fourth year performance student at the University of Victoria. Alex has studied extensively under John Roggensack, and currently studies with Wendell Clanton. Alex has attended and participated in master classes through Western Canada, most notably Eugene Rousseau. Alex has been selected as a finalist in concerto competitions hosted by both the University of Victoria (2010) and the Sooke Philharmonic (2009). Recently, Alex was honoured to perform the Creston Concerto for Alto Saxophone and Band with the University of Victoria Wind Symphony.
